The mobile unit for on-street taxi supervision is a custom tablet loaded with a special application that identifies the taxi license attached to the taxi windshield, and provides supervisor with full info on the particular driver, the vehicle and its license status. The supervisor is able to issue a ticket for a license violation on the spot, with protocol being sent wirelessly to the central database for further processing.
